Our Goal:
Part of the customer service BSCD promises the client, is to leave the work site each day in a presentable manner. This means the work site (inside and out) must be picked up and cleaned (as much as possible) ready for the client coming home.
Included:
- Make sure all small items such as screws and nails are picked up. Especially if there are children or pets in the house! Use metal detector or magnet.
- Make sure all power tools are turned off and extension cords coiled and put away.
- Remove all personal items which includes empty soda cans etc
- When appropriate, move furniture back in position.
- Make sure all temporary furniture and floors coverings are folded and put away.
- Make sure that all walkways are clear of trash cans and debris.
- Remove any masking tape when appropriate
- Check that the temporary power is on… verify major appliances are plugged in and that both heating and lighting are working
- Sweep outside paths and walkways when part of the work site.
- Sweep/vacuum house to remove dust…may include area's like window frames!
- Check that all outside equipment such as ladders etc are put away.
Lastly:
Walk through the site one last time and inspect for anything that may have been missed. We want our clients to feel good when they come into their home!
